Tom Hardy to star as ‘Venom’ in his own stand alone film

Tom Hardy is set to take on the iconic Spider-Man villain, Venom. Sony and their Marvel properties technically don’t fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in any way, however that isn’t going to stop them for creating their own ‘Sony Marvel Cinematic Universe’.  This would be a giant leap forward for Sony. To be able to finally catch up do what it seems like every studio is doing these days, creating a cinematic and interconnected universe.

Tom Hardy really is brilliant though, and I’m incredibly excited to see his take on this gruesome villain.
