Warner Bros. is looking to reboot ‘The Matrix’

While they are still in the early phases of development. WB has announced they are determined to get the iconic 1999 action thriller, The Matrix, rebooted. I know it doesn’t feel like it, but The Matrix came out nearly 18 years ago. (I know right?!?).  By Hollywood’s standards 18 years is more than enough time to consider rebooting a film franchise. Other film studios won’t even wait that long before they try to reinvigorate a property (Sony and Spider-man are a prime example)

Michael B Jordan is in early talks to be attached to the film, but again, nothing is set in stone.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this unfolds.

The ‘Geostorm’ trailer looks like every Roland Emmerich film ever made. (Minus Aliens)

If you like apocalyptic/disaster films that lack substance, heart, and realistic characters… This looks like it may be right up your alley.

I’m not going to lie, I have a soft spot in my heart for dumb disaster/apocalypse movies. If done right, they can be a lot of fun. If done wrong, they can be…well… Independence Day Resurgence.

There were a lot of production mishaps and problems that have plagued the making and release of this film. The fact that it’s even being released is being hailed as a miracle by some.

Who knows though, it might be great! Time will tell. Until then, here’s the trailer for you to feast your eyes on!

Here’s the trailer for the new Will Smith/ Netflix original film, ‘Bright’

If you would have told me 5-10 years ago that Will Smith would be starring in a movie that would be released exclusively on a streaming service, I would have told you that you were crazy.  (reasonably so)

Times have changed since then… We are in a digital revolution where streaming and binge-ing is slowly taking over the market. It truly is incredible to see films and television series released on a streaming service be nominated for and even win awards! (Oscars/Golden Globes/etc.)

The new trailer for the original Film, ‘Bright’, debuted last night. It stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, and Noomi Rapace. It was directed by Fury’s David Ayer and was written by the one and only Max Landis.

The star power and talent in this, straight to Netflix, release is incredible and I think it only bodes well for the future of the streaming service giant.

The description for the film is as follows,“Set in a world where mystical creatures live side by side with humans. A human cop is forced to work with an Orc to find a weapon everyone is prepared to kill for. “

First look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Force Friday Promo Material)

Force Friday is what Disney and LucasFilm have officially dubbed as the launch of their Star Wars merchandise marketing campaign., which focuses namely on toys, books, clothing, etc. The last few years it’s launched in September, ramping up the the eventual release of the films in December.

It looks like we have our first look at what will be some type of box/case that will contain toys or books perhaps. The important thing to note here is that we have our three main heroes with just enough differences to set them apart from the previous film, namely Rey.

First off, she’s holding a light saber and looking pretty rad I might add. Poe and Finn look similar, however it’s reassuring to know that they will still be big parts of this second installment.

Looks like the crew from the acclaimed phenomenon, Stranger Things,  is back! We’ve known for a while that season 2 was in development but until now we haven’t seen any marketing for the upcoming sophomore season.
