The first poster for Pacific Rim Uprising

I’ll admit, the first Pacific Rim isn’t a great film when it comes to acting, plot, or character development. However, watching giant robots and monsters fighting was like witnessing the fruition of a dream that I had when I was 12 years old. In that regard, it WAS awesome.  Just a big, dumb, loud, FUN film.

This first poster for the sequel doesn’t say much, but it does remind that my inner 12 year old that there will be more fun to be had.  Who knows, maybe it will still be fun, but also deliver in some of the areas where the first one lacked?
