The Flash’s Cinematic Crisis

In the photo below, Ezra Millers cinematic version of the flash looks concerned…. After multiple release date changes, re-writes, and directorial shifts, the film version of DC’s The Flash will be undergoing a page oneĀ  re-write. (Essentially starting from scratch).

This is a HUGE deal. It seems DC is content to hype and promote a property before they even have a story that’s good or they’re satisfied with (Cart before the horse situation). While this smells like more trouble for the DCEU, maybe if they really take their time with it and do it right, they can finally tap into something great!

The Grant Gustin lead TV version of The Flash has overwhelmingly positive reviews and a massive following. Maybe the movie studio can take a page or two out of the DC television playbook.
